DO YOU TRUST HIM

When Heaven is Quiet: Trusting God in the Silence

There’s something unsettling about silence—especially when it’s coming from the One you depend on most.

You’ve prayed. You’ve cried. You’ve worshipped. And yet… it feels like God is quiet.

If you’re in that place right now, you’re not alone. Some of the most faithful men and women in Scripture experienced seasons of silence—yet those were often the seasons where God was doing His deepest work.

Consider Joseph, thrown into a pit and forgotten in prison. For years, God said nothing—but when He moved, Joseph went from overlooked to positioned.

Think of Jesus, who spent 30 years in obscurity before stepping into public ministry. God was preparing Him in silence.

Here’s what I want you to know: God’s silence is not His absence. And it is certainly not His neglect.

Sometimes, silence is the space where faith grows. Where character is built. Where trust is tested. And more often than not, the silence precedes the shift.

So if you’re in a quiet place right now, don’t lose hope. Keep showing up in prayer. Keep opening your Bible. Keep walking in obedience. God is not ignoring you—He’s growing you.

Trust that what He whispered before is still true, even if He hasn’t repeated it lately.

Because even in the silence...God is still speaking. He’s just doing it differently.

Hold on. Stay faithful. The silence won’t last forever.
