LIVING OUT LOUD

Why We Should Never Be Ashamed of Christ

There was a time when I would have considered myself a secret servant of Christ. In my late 20s, I struggled with embarrassment and even shame about openly living for God. I can’t even say exactly why, maybe fear of judgment, maybe not wanting to stand out. But I realize now that silence in my faith wasn’t protecting me, it was hiding the very light that God had placed within me.

Today, my life looks completely different. I am a living example of what it means to live for Christ out loud. Unashamed, unapologetic, and unafraid. And it’s not because I’m perfect. It’s because I’ve learned that the power of salvation is not meant to be hidden. It’s meant to be proclaimed.

📖 Why Bold Faith Matters

Jesus said in Matthew 10:32-33:

“Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.”

That scripture alone is enough to remind us that our faith isn’t meant to be private or silent. Our testimony, our daily walk, and even our struggles become evidence of God’s power when we choose to live out loud.

Bold faith matters because:

* It encourages others who are secretly struggling.

* It shows the world that we belong to Christ in every season.

* It honors God and opens doors for Him to use us as vessels.

🔑 How to Live Out Loud in Faith

1. Speak His Name – Don’t be afraid to mention Jesus in your daily conversations, whether with family, friends, or even colleagues when appropriate.

2. Share Your Story – Your testimony is powerful, even if it feels small. Someone needs to hear how God carried you through.

3. Let Your Actions Preach – Living boldly doesn’t just mean talking about your faith. It means letting your life reflect Christ’s love, mercy, and truth.

4. Silence Fear of Rejection – The enemy wants us quiet. But when we push past fear, our courage strengthens others to do the same.

5. Stay Rooted in the Word – Confidence to profess Christ out loud comes from being grounded in His Word daily.

✨ A Final Word

If you’ve ever felt like I once did, hesitant, ashamed, or afraid to be known as a follower of Christ, I want you to know this: your faith is not meant to be hidden. There is nothing embarrassing about the God who saved you.

The world needs to hear our voices. ESPECIALLY in times like these. The world needs to see our light. And the world needs the hope that only Christ provides.

So let’s live out loud. Let’s boldly proclaim Him. And let’s never be ashamed of the One who was never ashamed of us.
